CAMPI EXPO 2024 est maintenant classé dans les archives. Ce week-end fut couronné de succès, de bonheur et de partage, tellement, que tous les exposants sont déjà prêts à revenir l’année prochaine (l’année prochaine ! Et dire que l’on aura encore pris une année de plus !). Que dire en quelques mots de ce long WE qui est passé en fin de compte comme un coup de sifflet bref ?

Avec le dossier lancé le 1er septembre 2023, on affichait quasiment complet pour le 15 octobre du mois suivant (il est vrai aussi que notre salle n’est pas si grande !). Puis, il s’en suit des mois de préparation. Déjà la réalisation et la fabrication de nouveaux trophées, des nouveaux jeux du Quizz, divers démarchages, etc…………

CAMPI EXPO 2024 is now classified in the archives. This weekend was crowned with success, happiness and sharing, so much, that all exhibitors are already ready to come back next year (next year! And say that we will have taken another year!). What can I say in a few words about this long WE that ended up being a short whistle?

With the file launched on September 1, 2023, it was almost complete for October 15 of the following month (it is also true that our room is not so large). Then, months of preparation follow. Already the realization and the manufacture of new trophies, new games of the Quiz, various solicitations, etc…………

Le vendredi 26 avril : les campistes et les bénévoles, ralliés à la bonne cause, sont présents dès 8 heures. Tenue de bricolage et gants de travail obligatoires. Notre chef de salle, Pierrot, pensait finir d’installer la salle pour le début d’après-midi : en deux heures, c’était réglé ! Déjà, les premiers exposants se manifestent. Pas d’installation avant 14 heures. Pause casse-croûte du midi, retour à 13h30, des exposants sont déjà arrivés. Pour le soir, un bon tiers de la salle est déjà rempli. La météo est sympa, et malgré des prévisions pessimistes  très très humides, elle se maintiendra très sympa tout le WE. Friday, April 26: campers and volunteers, rallied to the good cause, are present from 8 am. DIY clothing and work gloves are mandatory. Our room manager, Pierrot, thought to finish installing the room for the early afternoon: in two hours, it was settled! Already, the first exhibitors are showing up. No installation before 2 pm. Lunch break, return at 1:30 p.m., exhibitors have already arrived. For the evening, a good third of the room is already filled. The weather is nice, and despite very very wet pessimistic forecasts, it will remain very nice all weekend.

Nuit de garde pour les jeunes Campistes avec arrivée d’un hélico du SAMU sur zone à 4 heures du matin, qui réveille tout le monde dans un grand fracas, pour une évacuation sanitaire (ce n’était pas chez nous, mais la DZ est attenante à la salle, d’où une certaine rigueur obligatoire dans la tenue du parking). Sympa, il pleut la nuit, pas en journée et moi, d’expliquer aux exposants que c’est la Mairie qui détient l’interrupteur pour faire la pluie la nuit et le beau temps le jour ! Les exposants de toute la France, nous disent qu’il n’y a qu’ici qu’il fait beau, chez eux, c’est catastrophique !

Le samedi matin connaît son sympathique big bazar classique, arrivée, manutention de caisses, installation, préparation des pots, les campinières s’activent au bar. C’est une vraie fourmilière. Tout le monde a le plaisir de se retrouver. Et comme, il n’y a plus d’accueil concours et que les inscriptions sont déjà enregistrées, les exposants ont plus de temps pour s’installer et déguster le café-croissant offert par Campi. Monsieur le Maire arrive avec son adjointe aux associations. Leur mission (qu’ils acceptent tous les ans avec beaucoup de plaisir), trouver 4 coups de cœurs (ils ont l’habitude à CAMPI EXPO), 4 autres Maire de l’arrondissement se joignent à eux. Puis tout va très vite, allocution de Mr le Maire (toujours enchanté de notre prestation) et de moi-même, distributions des coups de cœur, coupe du mini ruban tricolore et on passe à l’apéro.

Night of guard for the young Campistes with arrival of a helicopter of the SAMU on zone at 4 o’clock in the morning, which wakes everyone in a great crash, for a medical evacuation (it was not at home, but the DZ is adjacent to the room, hence a certain mandatory rigor in the parking lot). Nice, it rains at night, not during the day and me, to explain to exhibitors that it is the Town Hall that holds the switch to make the rain at night and the beautiful weather by day! Exhibitors from all over France, tell us that it is only here that the weather is beautiful, at home, it is catastrophic!

Saturday morning knows its friendly classic big bazaar, arrival, handling of crates, installation, preparation of pots, the campers are busy at the bar. It’s a real anthill. Everyone has the pleasure of meeting again. And since there is no longer a competition reception and registrations are already registered, exhibitors have more time to settle in and enjoy the coffee-croissant offered by Campi. The Mayor arrives with his assistant associations. Their mission (which they accept every year with great pleasure), find 4 favorites (they are used to CAMPI EXPO), 4 other Mayor of the borough join them. Then everything goes very quickly, speech of Mr le Maire (always delighted with our performance) and myself, distributions of favorites, cutting of the mini tricolor ribbon and we move to the aperitif.

Après un petit couac de démarrage, le système de commande à l’avance des repas du midi livrés au stand, remporte un grand succès (adopté pour les prochaines éditions). Malgré les quantités achetées pour la restauration, tout part et il faut retourner faire le plein.

L’après-midi, un hélico du SAMU se pose à nouveau sur la DZ. Le QUIZZ est lancé par les deux chefs, William et Yann. Le premier jeu se passe en plein air, vu la météo, remporte un grand succès et enregistre faute de points, de nombreux éclats de rire. L’animation bassin prévue par nos amis de FINIST RC, malgré toute leur bonne volonté, capote, suite à un problème informatique. Nous les rassurons que cela n’est pas grave et que ce sont les aléas du monde associatif. Pierrot, Commandant en chef du jury et son adjoint Neil (grand merci du coup de main), s’activent autour de la centaine de pièces mises en concours. L’après-midi se termine en pente douce.

Dimanche matin, 7h30 sur le pont, passé prendre les 150 baguettes, etc… Arrivée à la salle, nuit calme. On attaque la distribution des diplômes souvenirs et des petits trophées CAMPI EXPO 2024. Merci pour vos nombreux remerciements pour cette coutume du CAMPI. Les exposants arrivent très très tôt (pas de grasse matinée pour ces courageux !). Et ça repart. Incroyable, les premiers visiteurs arrivent dès 8 heures. Comme, il fait un peu frais, j’ai installé mes anciens et la caisse à l’entrée de la salle. Remise en place du QUIZZ avec rattrapage du jeu de la veille pour ceux qui l’ont raté (ils sont braves William et Yann).

After a small start-up, the system of order in advance of lunch delivered to the stand, is a great success (adopted for the next editions). Despite the quantities bought for the restoration, everything leaves and we must return to refuel.

In the afternoon, a SAMU helicopter landed again on the DZ. The QUIZ was launched by the two chefs, William and Yann. The first game takes place outdoors, given the weather, is a great success and records for lack of points, many laughter. The pool animation planned by our friends of FINIST RC, despite all their goodwill, condoms, following a computer problem. We reassure them that this is not serious and that these are the vagaries of the associative world. Pierrot, Commander in Chief of the jury and his assistant Neil (big thank you for the helping hand), are busy around the hundred pieces put in competition. The afternoon ends on a gentle slope.

Sunday morning, 7:30 on the bridge, came to take the 150 baguettes, etc… Arrival at the room, quiet night. The distribution of souvenir diplomas and small trophies CAMPI EXPO 2024 is under attack. Thank you for your many thanks for this CAMPI custom. Exhibitors arrive very early (no sleep-in for these brave!). And it starts again. Incredible, the first visitors arrive at 8 o’clock. As, it is a little chilly, I installed my old and the cash register at the entrance of the room. Put back the QUIZ with catch-up of the game the day before for those who missed it (they are brave William and Yann).

11 heures, remise des prix toujours aussi laborieuse, avec des participants au concours qui se cachent dans les coins. En fin de compte tout le monde est satisfait et c’est l’essentiel.

Pendant ce temps, nos amis de Montbrison (42) nous prépare un stand de dégustion de la fameuse fourme de….. Montbrison. Un top, un succès la dégustation !  Grand MERCI à eux !

11 o’clock, prize-giving still laborious, with contest participants hiding in the corners. In the end everyone is satisfied and that is the main thing.

Meanwhile, our friends from Montbrison (42) are preparing a degustion stand of the famous fourme of….. Montbrison. A top, a success tasting! Big THANK YOU to them!

 

Super prestation appréciée de tous suivie de….. l’apéro CAMPI au Vouvray, normal c’est Dimanche ! Les barmaids s’activent à préparer les commandes et des livreurs assurent les livraisons, plan de la salle en main (un succès, plus de couac !).

Après-midi, dernière épreuves du Quizz et la fameuse boîte de pièces à Pierrot où il faut trouver le nombre exact de pièces qu’elle contient. Petite anecdote, celle-ci se trouvant sur le bar, les joueurs du Quizz travaillent au corps les barmaids. Un exposant demande à Mme PERSONNIC : «Alors combien de pièces» et n’en sachant rien, elle répond au pif : «268». Incroyable ! c’est le nombre exact de pièces. Je vais lui demander de jouer au loto maintenant !

Great service appreciated by all followed by….. CAMPI aperitif at Vouvray, normal is Sunday! The barmaids are busy preparing orders and deliverymen ensure deliveries, floor plan of the room in hand (a success, more couac!).

Afternoon, last test of the Quiz and the famous box of coins in Pierrot where you have to find the exact number of coins it contains. Small anecdote, this one being on the bar, the players of the Quiz work the body bartenders. An exhibitor asks Mrs PERSONNIC: «So how many pieces» and knowing nothing about it, she answers the pif: «268». Incredible! That’s the exact number of coins. I’ll ask him to play the lottery now!

A 16 heures, Paul-Étienne se met à la correction des 34 bulletins réponse du Quizz et procède au classement. Seul, nous deux, connaissons le vainqueur. Et comme tous les participants ont gagné, j’égraine dans l’ordre en commençant par le dernier. Partie de rigolade encore avec les lots tous disparates (j’avais aussi un TUPPERWARE que je n’ai pas osé mettre en jeu). Le public rentre toujours. A 17 heures, les campistes enlèvent toutes les barrières à proximité de la salle. 17h30, je donne le grand vainqueur du QUIZZ 2024, notre ami Jean Emmanuel Reinhardt qui remporte une machine SODA STREAM offerte par le CENTRE LECLERC de CROZON. Tous nos remerciements, AUX MODELES REDUITS de BREST, à la revue COCARDES, à ARMOX LUX, aux opticiens RAULT de CROZON, à LOCO REVUE qui ont parrainé cette fête avec de belles dotations de cadeaux, sans oublier BROENNEC CONSTRUCTIONS et FRANCE BLEU BREIZ IZEL qui nous épaulent tous les ans !

At 4 pm, Paul-Étienne started to correct the 34 answers of the Quiz and proceeded to the classification. Only the two of us know the winner. And since all the participants won, I start with the last one. Fun again with the lots all disparate (I also had a TUPPERWARE that I did not dare to put in play). The public always returns. At 5 pm, the campers remove all barriers near the hall. pm, I give the winner of the 2024 QUIZ, our friend Jean Emmanuel Reinhardt who wins a SODA STREAM machine offered by the LECLERC CENTER of CROZON. All our thanks, TO THE REDUCED MODELS of BREST, to the magazine COCARDES, to ARMOX LUX, to the opticians RAULT of CROZON, to LOCO REVUE who sponsored this party with beautiful gifts endowments, without forgetting BROENNEC CONSTRUCTIONS and FRANCE BLEU BREIZ IZEL who support us every year!

17h30 passée, malgré le respect des exposants de respecter les horaires, il est l’heure de clôturer. Un dernier mot au micro pour les aux-revoirs, suivi d’applaudissements, merci à vous, ça fait chaud au cœur. En 20mn, tout le monde est parti, sauf notre ami Jean Michel THILL qui a quand-même du boulot avec son super diorama au 1/35 (pas grave, il viendra avec nous prendre l’apéro de clôture au local). Le plaisir à nouveau de retrouver les campistes et les bénévoles acquis à la cause, pour ranger le matériel et nettoyer la salle, Merci à vous tous !

EN CONCLUSION : un WE très très sympa, des gens très très sympa et déjà tous les exposants prêts à revenir en 2025, les 3 et 4 Mai . Nous vous proposerons différentes galeries de photos, dans les parutions suivantes, mais déjà le plus important dans une exposition, commençons par vous, les exposants (pour les photos, c’est une sélection, déjà de celles qui sont réussies. Si une photo vous gêne, nous en informer, nous la supprimerons immédiatement).

after 5.30 pm, despite the respect of the exhibitors to respect the schedules, it is time to close. A last word at the microphone for goodbyes, followed by applause, thank you to you, it’s heartwarming. In 20 minutes, everyone left, except our friend Jean Michel THILL who still has work with his super diorama at 1/35 (not serious, he will come with us for the closing aperitif at the local). The pleasure again to find the campers and volunteers acquired in the cause, to store the equipment and clean the room, Thank you all!

IN CONCLUSION: a very very nice weekend, very very nice people and already all the exhibitors ready to return in 2025, on April 12 and 13 . We will offer you different photo galleries, in the following publications, but already the most important in an exhibition, let’s start with you, the exhibitors (for photos, it is a selection, already of those that are successful. If a photo bothers you, inform us, we will delete it immediately).
