Bonjour à tous ! Nous revoilà sur les ondes, de retour de l’expo de l’IPMS BORDEAUX à PESSAC (33). Certains se demanderont pourquoi aller aussi loin en temps de crise (carburant, péages, etc…) tout simplement parce que ma Belle Mère habite à 11 mn de la salle d’expo, alors coup double (expo maquette, bon repas, soirée tarot et l’occasion de revoir toute la famille)… et tout le monde est content !

On retrouve la grande salle Bellegrave avec plaisir. 150 exposants sont annoncés, rien que des jeunes…… A l’accueil, c’est le Président Bruno qui vous reçoit chaleureusement. Petit bémol, il nous appelle : « tiens voilà, le club des amis maquettistes de la Presqu’île de…………Quiberon, dans le 56 » ! Cela aurait pu être une bonne blague, mais non, nous avons été enregistrés ainsi. Partie de rigolade et c’est rectifié, du moins je le crois au moins pour la prochaine fois……

Hello everyone! We are back on the airwaves, back from the IPMS BORDEAUX exhibition in PESSAC (33). Some will wonder why go so far in times of crisis (fuel, tolls, etc…) simply because my Mother-in-law lives 11 minutes from the showroom, then double blow (model exhibition, good meal, tarot evening and the opportunity to see the whole family)… and everyone is happy!

We find the great room Bellegrave with pleasure. 150 exhibitors are announced, just young… At the reception, it is the President Bruno who welcomes you warmly. Small downside, he calls us: «Here it is, the club of friends models of the peninsula of……… Quiberon, in the 56»! It could have been a good joke, but no, we were recorded that way. Part of fun and it is rectified, at least I believe it at least for the next time…

Montage du stand avec ma partenaire de toujours. Avec la touche féminine qui pour poser la nappe cela vous prendra une plombe (j’exagère bien sûr ! Merci à elle de m’accompagner). Le stand est vite monté et on retrouve les copains. Dans ce microcosme national maquettiste, on retrouve avec plaisir quasiment toujours les mêmes.

Tour de salle, poignées de main à droite, bises à gauche. Cette année, curieusement, c’est l’aviation qui prédomine, toutes les époques, toutes les échelles et de superbes réalisations en scratch. J’ai même disputé un exposant à qui j’ai dit : « Vous devriez être interdit d’exposer ici ! ». Grand moment de solitude suivi d’un « pourquoi ?». Réponse du Campiste : « parce que vous nous mettez tous la honte ! ». Rigolade, détente et ça repart.

Round the room, handshakes on the right, kisses on the left. This year, curiously, it is aviation that predominates, all eras, all scales and superb achievements in scratch. I even quarreled with an exhibitor and said, « You should be forbidden to exhibit here! » A great moment of solitude followed by a « why? » Campiste’s answer: « Because you are putting us all to shame! » Fun, relaxation and it starts again.

Mon coup de cœur, le mien, parce que l’on pourrait en avoir beaucoup, c’est le stand de ce maquettiste qui ne fait que des dioramas à base surtout de scratch, basés sur des scènes de films (Apocalypse Now, Mad Max, Avatar, absolument magnifique). C’est vraiment sublime, jusqu’au décor de fond superbement peint. Bravo Monsieur !

My favorite, mine, because we could have a lot, it’s the stand of this model maker who only makes dioramas based on scratch, based on movie scenes (Apocalypse Now, Mad Max, Avatar, absolutely beautiful). It’s really sublime, up to the beautifully painted background. Bravo Sir!

Le samedi midi, c’est bol de nouille et pâtisserie avec le food truck, café au bar ( il y a beaucoup de monde derrière et devant le bar et le café a du mal à suivre)… Après-midi sympa, entre photos, pauses et blabla. Blabla entre maquettistes et avec un public intéressant et intéressé. Mes dios bateaux interpellent beaucoup et si j’avais touché un euro pour chaque photo prise, j’aurai pu acheter sûrement, une nouvelle belle grosse maquette qui aurait rejoint mon stock et que j’aurai sûrement monté dans une cinquième vie.

Le dimanche, le ciel ne nous tombe pas sur la tête, et ça chauffe : 32 ° dans la salle (sale temps pour un Breton un peu enrobé). La journée se passe tranquillement. Remise des prix spéciaux. Apéro sympa le midi. Le Président Bruno offre une bonne bouteille de Bordeaux estampillée IPMS BORDEAUX à chaque stand, ce qui ravira mon épouse et stimulera le remballage sous la grande chaleur. Nous aurons 34 ° le lundi.

Voyage retour en étapes familiales et finops des opérations le mercredi soir minuit où je retrouve avec grand plaisir……….mon lit.

EN CONCLUSION : une expo très sympa, les membres de l’IPMS BORDEAUX (reconnaissables à leur sweat shirt), très accueillants et entretenant des échanges permanents avec les exposants tout le week-end (ça c’est sympa et important). Bref, on y retournera avec plaisir et aussi voir Mamy dans deux ans. On se retrouve dans moins de 15 jours au FESTIVAL DU RELECQ KERHUON, 29 et au salon de NIORT, 79.

On Saturday noon, it’s bowl of noodle and pastry with the food truck, coffee at the bar (there are a lot of people behind and in front of the bar and the coffee has trouble keeping up)… Nice afternoon, between photos, breaks and blah. Blah between models and with an interesting and interested audience. My boat dios resonate a lot and if I had touched a euro for each picture taken, I could surely buy a new beautiful large model that would have joined my stock and that I would have surely climbed in a fifth life.

On Sunday, the sky does not fall on our heads, and it heats up: 32 ° in the room (bad weather for a Breton a little coated). The day passes quietly. Special prizes. Nice aperitif at noon. President Bruno offers a good bottle of Bordeaux stamped IPMS BORDEAUX at each stand, which will delight my wife and stimulate repacking under the great heat. We have 34° on Monday.

Journey back in family stages and finops of operations on Wednesday evening midnight where I find with great pleasure……. my bed.

IN CONCLUSION: a very nice exhibition, the members of IPMS BORDEAUX (recognizable by their sweatshirt), very welcoming and maintaining permanent exchanges with exhibitors all weekend (that’s nice and important). In short, we will return with pleasure and also see Grandma in two years. We meet in less than 15 days at the FESTIVAL DU RELECQ KERHUON, 29 and at the NIORT show, 79.
