Les parois du logement étant constituées des veines des entrées d’air, il faut les enserrer en utilisant les ouvertures des tuyères ; Le logement de la roulette de nez constituant le soutien du cockpit ayant été inséré avant l’installation de ce dernier.

J’ai rajoute quelques renforts structurels à installer dans chaque logement. Un collage à la cyano rapide sur de la résine fut elle peinte doit se faire du premier coup sans trembler. J’avoue une certaine irrégularité mais compte tenu du travail que cette maquette demande et le peu qui, au final, sera visible, j’ai considéré qu’après peinture une rectification ne s’imposait pas vraiment.
Pour la même raison, J’ai fait de même pour le train avant, seule la petite trappe auxiliaire restant ouverte, l’intérieur étant invisible, mais ce logement existe bel et bien.

En prévision du montage final j’ai revu l’installation des deux bonbonnes et leur tuyauteries fournies dans le kit

Le kit étant basé sur la version prototype, à mesure des différents essais effectués la forme des trappes a évolué, il a donc fallu les modifier en conséquence à commencer par les indentations imposées par la recherche de la furtivité.

En raison du poids de la maquette, les jambes sont moulées en résine autour d’une tige métallique afin de les renforcer.
