Il s’agit de la construction d’une cheminée industrielle partiellement détruite au 1/72. J’ai commencé par couler la partie supérieure, en plâtre résine, dans un cylindre cartonné (friandises pour chats, merci les minoux pour votre collaboration à mon projet). Puis, j’ai gravé les briques, fissures, impacts. j’ai ensuite ajouté un cerclage métallique dont j’ai gravé les boulons à l’aide d’une molette dentée. Le socle est réalisé dans un bloc d’isolant type polyfoam avec incrustation de briques en plâtre résine. This is the construction of an industrial chimney partially destroyed at 1/72. I started by pouring the upper part, in plaster resin, in a cylinder cardboard (treats for cats, thank you guys for your collaboration on my project). Then I engraved the bricks, cracks, impacts. I then added a metal strapping and I engraved the bolts with a toothed wheel. The base is made of a block of polyfoam insulation with inlay of bricks in plaster resin.
J’ai ajouté une porte faite dans de l’alu (barquette alimentaire) et une poignée laiton, des gonds en profilés. La lampe est en métal embouti à l’aide d’un embossoir et un tube laiton cintré. Une mini ampoule LED permettra d’animer la scène. La peinture est réalisée aux acryliques et huiles avec les jus, filtres et brossage à sec habituels, pastels, joint de rebouchage pour les briques….
Cette cheminée, viendra probablement un jour garnir un diorama … Ce projet fût une belle aventure ponctuée de petites suées (mauvaise tenue des peinture, mousse très fragile….) bref les aléas qui font le charme de la maquette ! I added a door made of aluminum (food tray) and a brass handle, hinges in profiles. The lamp is made of metal stamped with a embossing and a bent brass tube. A mini LED bulb will animate the scene. The paint is made with acrylics and oils with the usual juices, filters and dry brushing, pastels, sealing of refilling for bricks…. This fireplace will probably one day decorate a diorama … This project was a beautiful adventure punctuated by small sweats (poor paint, very fragile foam….) in short the hazards that make the charm of the model!
