Je me suis lancé sur un VAB MO (Maintien de l’Ordre) rétrofité par l’entreprise OMAT implantée à MONTLOUIS SUR LOIRE (37) à la demande de la Gendarmerie Nationale en vue d’un éventuel remplacement du Véhicule Blindé à Roues de la Gendarmerie appelé communément VBRG, issu du VIB à savoir un VAB doté d’une pelle de décombrement du Génie. 

Cette entreprise est partie sur la base d’un VIB de l’Armée de l’Air muni d’une pelle de décombrement renforcée et d’une ouverture de toit permettant l’installation du tourelleau S365-3 connu pour être installé sur les VBRG et quelques véhicules africains.  C’est un engin unique au monde car  l’institution a préféré  décliner la rénovation  et a programmé l’achat de  90 Centaures neufs de chez SOFRAME. 

Je suis parti sur la base du VAB 6X6 de chez HELLER car le VAB 4×4 devient introuvable et les prix  flambent.

De nombreuses modifications sont nécessaires et bien entendu du « Scratch ». Quant aux roues, j’ai opté pour le kit Blast Model pneumatiques de marque UNIROYAL. En effet, les sculptures se rapprochent le plus de la réalité.

Après, je me lance dans l’AMX 30 DFC ( Char furtif Prototype). J’adore les prototypes.

I launched a VAB MO (Maintenance of Order) retrofited by the company OMAT located in MONTLOUIS SUR LOIRE (37) at the request of the National Gendarmerie for a possible replacement of the Armoured Wheeled Vehicle of the Gendarmerie commonly known as VBRG, from the VIB, namely a VAB equipped with a excavator of rubble of the Genie. 

This company left on the basis of an Air Force VIB equipped with a reinforced debris shovel and a roof opening allowing the installation of the S365-3 turret known to be installed on the VBRG and some African vehicles.  It is a unique device in the world because the institution preferred to decline the renovation and planned the purchase of 90 new Centaurs from SOFRAME. 

I left on the basis of the VAB 6X6 from HELLER because the VAB 4×4 becomes untraceable and prices soar.
Many modifications are necessary and of course « Scratch ». As for the wheels, I opted for the UNIROYAL pneumatic Blast Model kit. Indeed, the sculptures are closer to reality.
