Je vous communique un petit reportage photo d’un diorama au 1/72ème qui situerait l’action après le débarquement en Normandie, dans une bourgade près de Caen, où l’armée Britannique se trouve bloquée dans son avance suite à la destruction d’un pont sur l’Orne. La population se trouve dans l’obligation d’assurer son ravitaillement au moyen de barques pour traverser la rivière. Les Protagonistes : un chasseur de char Achille – une automitrailleuse Staghound – un camion Bedford. Les maisons et le pont sont une rare production au 1/72 ème de François Verlinden. Les personnages sont issus pour la plupart de la superbe gamme Preiser. La sirène sur le toit est en photodécoupe. Et plein de petits accessoires divers … Le candélabre peut s’allumer (on distingue sa prise sur le socle à droite de la photo 12).

I give you a small photo report of a diorama at 1/72nd which would situate the action after the landing in Normandy, in a village near Caen, where the British army is blocked in its advance following the destruction of a bridge on the Orne.

The population is obliged to ensure its supply by means of boats to cross the river. The Protagonists: an Achilles tank destroyer – a Staghound automitrailleuse – a Bedford truck. The houses and the bridge are a rare 1/72 production of François Verlinden. The characters are mostly from the superb Preiser range. The siren on the roof is in photocut. And lots of various small accessories … The candelabra can light up (we can see its socket on the base to the right of photo 12).
