L’industrie aéronautique Roumaine fut fortement influencée par la Française entre les deux Guerres. Cependant c’est à partir d’éléments de PZL24 que le chasseur IAR 80 vit le jour. Equipé d’un Gnôme et Rhône 14 c’était un avion moderne en 1940. Il subit de nombreuses modifications d’ailes à cause de la nécéssité d’y établir un armement plus puissant, ce qui aboutit à l’ultime version le IAR 81C. La maquette d’Hobby Boss au 48° est détaillée et les formes sont justes. Quelques défauts sont à signaler: l’espace entre les puits de train est trop étroit et demande un peu de chirurgie, bizarrement il n’y a pas de séparation entre les ailerons et les volets. J’ai utilisé pour la première fois le set de Quinta Studio pour l’intérieur et ai été surpris par le rendu et la facilité d’utilisation. L’avion est le n° 135 de l’Esc 47 Vt/Gr.9Vt basé à Pipera en Aout 42. H

The Romanian aerospace industry was strongly influenced by the French between the two World Wars. However, it is from elements of PZL24 that the IAR 80 fighter was born. Equipped with a Gnôme and Rhône 14 it was a modern aircraft in 1940. It underwent many modifications of wings because of the need to establish a more powerful armament, resulting in the ultimate version of the IAR 81C. The 48° Hobby Boss model is detailed and the shapes are accurate. Some defects are to be noted: the gap between the train shafts is too narrow and requires a little surgery, oddly there is no separation between the ailerons and the flaps. I used for the first time the Quinta Studio set for the interior and was surprised by the rendering and ease of use. The aircraft is Sqn. 135 47 Vt/Gr.9Vt based at Pipera in August 42. H
