Les Me 109 de fin de Guerre sont un sujet passionnant. Pour sortir des sentiers battus j’ai opté pour l’excellent G-6 de Zvezda auquel j’ai greffé la conversion en résine de Vector, le transformant ainsi en G-10/U4 (équipé du 30mm), identifié comme provenant de l’usine de Wiener Neuschtadt, une des trois usines d’ou sortaient ces avions, les deux autres étant Erla Leipzig et Mtt Regensburg. L’avion appartenait à la II/JG51 avant d’être reversé à la II/JG52. Les anciennes marques sont repeintes, et toute la déco est faite à l’aide de masques faits maison. Ce Me 109 se trouvait sur l’aérodrome de Brno en Bohéme-Moravie en Avril 45. Bonnes fêtes de fin d’année à tous et toutes.
The Me 109 at the end of the war is an exciting subject. To get off the beaten track I opted for the excellent G-6 from Zvezda to which I grafted the resin conversion of Vector, transforming it into G-10/U4 (equipped with the 30mm), identified as coming from the factory of Wiener Neuschtadt, one of the three factories of where were leaving these planes, the other two being Erla Leipzig and Mtt Regensburg. The aircraft belonged to the II/JG51 before being transferred to the II/JG52. The old markings are repainted, and all the decoration is done with home-made masks. This Me 109 was on the airfield of Brno in Bohemia-Moravia in April 45. Happy holidays to all.
