Ces dernières années, les maquettes de véhicules ont connu un essor considérable, et face à cette demande croissante, une poignée de modélistes et d’entreprises se sont lancés dans la production de kits toujours plus complexes et détaillés . Parmi eux, la marque italienne Italeri a placé la barre très haut avec la sortie d’un kit à l’échelle 1/12 de la légendaire Lancia Delta HF Intégrale 16v, voiture de rallye, décliné en trois versions. Il a été suivi par la Lancia Stratos, puis par une série de trois Bugatti 35 B. In recent years, vehicle models have experienced a considerable boom, and in the face of this growing demand, a handful of modelers and companies have started to produce ever more complex and detailed kits. Among them, the Italian brand Italeri has set the bar very high with the release of a 1/12 scale kit of the legendary Lancia Delta HF Integral 16v rally car, available in three versions. It was followed by the Lancia Stratos, then a series of three Bugatti 35Bs.
Bénéficiant de moules personnalisés très détaillés, développés pour produire ce kit, ce modèle à l’échelle 1:12 de la voiture spéciale d’homologation du Groupe B, présente une multitude d’éléments à l’échelle incroyablement réalistes, notamment des roues en caoutchouc, des vitres en plexiglas et une reproduction remarquablement fidèle de la carrosserie carrée et évasée de la Delta. Mesurant 32,5 cm, l’intérieur de cette maquette est tout aussi soigné, avec un arceau de sécurité complet, deux sièges baquets, une roue de secours de taille normale. Au lieu d’être vendue avec des pièces d ‘amélioration en option, cette Lancia est livrée d’usine avec une multitude de détails impressionnants : enjoliveurs aérodynamiques personnalisés, instruments de bord très détaillés, suspension fonctionnelle, ceintures de sécurité et rétroviseurs réalistes, reproduction ultra-fidèle du compartiment moteur, portes et capot ouvrants, pièces photo-découpées et chromées, ressorts et durites miniatures, et bavettes caoutchouc. Autant d’éléments qui placent cette maquette Lancia dans une catégorie à part. De plus, elle est disponible avec une planche de décalcomanies reproduisant la livrée emblématique Martini Racing de la Lancia de rallye.
Un sujet original, un magnifique moulage des pièces, une notice claire, de la photo découpe, des super décals ne pourront malheureusement masquer les quelques ombres au tableau tels que le petit nombre de pièces composant le kit, le prix pas très amical de la boîte (malgré les gros efforts de notre distributeur Oupsmodel !) et les masques en papier à découper de la notice. Mieux que du Tamiya par certains côtés mais très en retard sur d ‘autres. Italeri est monté en gamme …. mais aussi en prix (compris entre 150 et 190 €) ! Benefiting from highly detailed custom molds developed to produce this kit, this 1:12 scale model of the Group B homologation special car features a multitude of incredibly realistic scale elements, including rubber wheels, Plexiglass windows and a remarkably faithful reproduction of the Delta’s square flared body. Measuring 32.5 cm, the interior of this model is just as neat, with a complete roll cage, two bucket seats, and a full-size spare wheel. Instead of being sold with optional upgrade parts, this Lancia is delivered from the factory with a multitude of impressive details: custom aerodynamic hubcaps, very detailed dashboard instruments, functional suspension, seat belts and realistic mirrors, ultra-faithful reproduction of the engine compartment, opening doors and hood, photo-cut and chrome-plated parts, miniature springs and hoses, and rubber flaps. All these elements place this Lancia model in a category apart. Moreover, it is available with a decal board reproducing the iconic Martini Racing livery of the rally Lancia.
An original subject, a magnificent molding of the parts, a clear instruction manual, photo cutting, super decals will unfortunately not be able to hide the few shadows in the picture such as the small number of parts making up the kit, and the not very friendly price of the box. (despite the hard work of our distributor Oupsmodel!) and the cutting paper masks from the manual. Better than Tamiya in some ways but very late in others. Italeri has moved up the range… but also in price (between €150 and €190)!

Vendue avec des planches de décalcomanies intérieures et extérieures de l’excellent artisan Cartograph. Assurément un joli modèle qui aura du succès sur les tables d ‘expositions. A réserver toutefois aux maquettistes expérimentés. En effet, la bête est complexe, tant en assemblage qu’en peinture ! La carrosserie et les ouvrants fragiles ; les decals, bien que d ‘excellente qualité, ne se laissent pas dompter facilement car les surfaces de pose et les formes sont tourmentées. Mais ne boudons pas notre plaisir, c’est un bel exercice qui a toute sa place dans une collection. Sold with boards of interior and exterior decals from the excellent craftsman Cartograph. Undoubtedly a beautiful model that will be successful on the exhibition tables. However, it should be reserved for experienced modellers. Indeed, the beast is complex, both in assembly and painting! The bodywork and the fragile openings; the decals, although of excellent quality, do not let themselves be easily tamed because the installation surfaces and shapes are tormented. But let’s not turn away from our pleasure, it’s a beautiful exercise that has all its place in a collection.
