Voici quelques photos de la DS… en cours de construction. La caisse a été peinte, puis passée au diluant synthétique avant de recevoir un « apprêt à garnir » très épais pour simuler les traces de peinture décollée. Ensuite, jus, dry brush, encres et peinture à l’huile pour le reste du wheathering. Voilou ! here are some photos of the DS… under construction. D’un modèle qui était destiné à la poubelle car complètement loupé, l’idée a germé d’en faire une épave. La base : le kit Heller au 1/16ème, ancien, aux formes justes mais à l’assemblage pas très simple (c’est le moins qu’on puisse dire). En même temps, c’est un des rares kits d’une voiture Française à cette échelle. Je ne parlerai pas de celui de la DS 23 de chez Ebbro plus récent. La base : un support bois, quelques accessoires tirés de la boîte à rabiot, du lichen et de la mousse en provenance directe du jardin, puis un traitement de vieillissement, et d’usage du temps. Ce modèle construit en 2016 m’a accompagné durant quelques années en expo avant d ‘être vendu à un amateur.
