Bonjour CAMPI ! Quelques photos d’un montage d’il y a déjà une bonne douzaine d’années. La maquette que je vous présente aujourd’hui est une maquette Airfix sortie en 1968 et que j’avais en stock depuis fort longtemps. Juste un peu de travail en scratch à l’intérieur, un peu sur le moteur  et, bien sûr, les fils de haubanage faits en fils de pêche. Peinture Revell et Humbrol à l’aéro. L’intérieur est peint au pinceau. D’après les infos que j’ai pu trouver, cet appareil aurait servi au sauvetage en mer en Alaska dans les années 1948/1950, sans certitude. Hello CAMPI. Some photos from a montage of already a good dozen years ago. The model I present today is an Airfix model released in 1968 and that I had in stock for a long time. Just a little scratch work inside, a little bit on the motor and of course the hauling wires made from fishing threads. Revell and Humbrol airbrush paint. Interior is painted with a paintbrush. According to the information I could find this aircraft would have been used in the rescue at sea in Alaska in the years 1948/1950, without certainty. A few pictures to illustrate.
