Day tenant un chiot dans un casque allemand. Ce chiot est appelé “Invasion” après le débarquement de Normandie en juin 1944. Cette Photo est visible au mémorial de Caen. Le buste est de bonne taille, bien gravé au niveau des plis. Le visage est bien marqué. La difficulté pour moi a été de faire coïncider dans la bonne position les bras, les mains, le casque et le chiot. Seconde difficulté, je me suis aperçu qu’il me manquait 5mn sur la sangle du fusil pour les raccorder. J’ai du piocher dans ma boite à fourre tout pour faire un petit raccord avec une feuille de plomb. Jonction cachée dans le coude du bras. La peinture est à l’acrylique principalement (Kit Ak intéractive) avec quelque jus à l’huile. J’ai suivi quelques tutos pour ce buste que l’on trouve sur des chaines type youtube. C’est toujours bon a regarder, écouter et mettre en pratique. On se débrouille comme on peut. Le socle provient d’une marque bien connue. basique mais fiable. Junction hidden in the elbow of the arm. The paint is mainly acrylic (interactive Kit Ak) with some oil juice. I followed some tutorials for this bust that can be found on YouTube-type channels. It’s always good to watch, listen, and put into practice. We manage as best we can. The base comes from a well-known brand. basic but reliable. Here is the result.
